Delivery & Shipping

Effective 1 March 2026, regional airspace closures means we can accept your order, but cannot currently despatch to Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Despatching your order

  • Most items are in stock and ready to ship from our warehouse in Devon, England
  • Orders placed before 2pm on working weekdays are usually shipped the same day
  • Where items are made-to-order or specifically sourced, delivery will be longer as noted on the product page
  • On the rare occasion that goods are not in stock and only available to backorder, this will be noted on the product page
  • You will receive an email to confirm when you order is despatched, which will include tracking details where possible

Why is shipping not free?

We could build and hide the cost of shipping into each product price, but instead we offer shipping rates calculated per order. This includes courier and postal options where applicable.

Limitations with the postal service means some products must go by courier:

  • Dangerous Goods - products such as adhesives, solvents, aerosols and paints
  • Bulky orders - longer lengths of rubbing strakes and larger orders of Gecko helmets which exceed maximum parcel dimensions
  • Long items - larger rolls of fabric, oars and boat hooks which exceed maximum parcel dimensions
  • Heavy orders which exceed maximum parcel weights

We work hard to ensure that our shipping prices on the website are correct at the checkout, but occasionally orders are too complex for the website to calculate correctly. If a surcharge applies, we will always contact you prior to preparing and despatching your order.

Taking delivery of your order

If you'd like a parcel left in a safe place, please note this in our Special Delivery Instructions box in the Shopping Cart.

Our couriers usually require a signature on delivery, so please ensure that you will be present to sign for your delivery or state an alternative delivery address when you place your order e.g. your workplace.

Most couriers and postal providers will email information such as timeslots and options to change the delivery.

Poste Restante - useful when travelling around the UK

When travelling around the UK without a permanent address, you can have post delivered to a convenient Post Office. Enter your delivery address when your order to use the address format below:

Taxes, Duties and Customs Clearance fees

We calculate and collect payment for taxes, duties and customs clearance fees at Checkout. No more nasty surprises, giving you a guaranteed total cost on your purchase and delivery!

Add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, and enter your delivery address in the Checkout. The Shipping Method section will include a breakdown of the fees.
